mRNA COVID Vaccine FDA Approved for 24-25 Season!

Last week the FDA approved EUA on the updated mRNA COVID vaccines for the 2024-2025 season. This is the mRNA vaccines made by Moderna & Pfizer.  This single component, Omicron KP.2 should more closely match currently circulating variants.  

The COVID infection surge this summer and apparent waning immunity may have those wondering if it’s time to receive an additional dose of COVID vaccine.  The ACIP recommends COVID vaccines to appropriate persons 6 months of age and over to prevent the more serious potential consequences of a SARS-CoV2 infection.
